読売新聞が次のように報じているのだとか。「演説のタイトル『Ｊａｐａｎ ｉｓ ｂａｃｋ（日本は戻ってきた）』に、首相に返り咲いた自らの境遇を重ね合わせたジョーク。会場からは拍手と笑いが一斉に上がった。聴衆の心をつかんだ首相は、約３０分間の演説を英語でよどみなくこなし、大胆な金融政策などを柱とする経済政策『アベノミクス』が軌道に乗ったことなどをアピールした」安倍さんが演説を英語でよどみなくこなしたのだ、と。読売さんも、随分よいしょしますね。安倍さんの英語が上手いかどうかは、皆さんの判断にお任せしたいと思います。それにしても、安倍さんの英語のスピーチをお聞きになりましたか？
ところで、メディアが報じるところによれば、安倍さんが I am back といったところで、笑いが起き、大変受けたとされています。日本人の立場からすれば、そうやって聞いている人が反応してくれると、自分の英語が通じていると分かるので、嬉しいというかホットするもので、そうやって笑いが起きたとき、安倍さんはホットしたと思うのです。
でも、少し冷静になってみると、どうも不思議なのです。I am back と言ったことが何故そんなにおかしいのか？或いは、I am back はジョークなのか？それに、安倍さんのスピーチに対し、会場の人々が反応するのは、それ以外では殆どなく、ずっと黙って聞いているだけなのです。
何故、I am backにアメリカ人は反応したのか？
おかげさまで、昨日2012年度補正予算が参議院を通過いたしました。
しかし、今日は訪米報告等４時間にわたる集中審議、また明日は朝8:30から衆議院、参議院での集中審議、そして衆参本会議での施政方針演説があります。
総理就任以来、最も過酷な日程を迎えます。
そんなスケジュールを控えた、今日の夕食は「タコさんウインナー（おにぎりセット）」。
幼少の頃、私が最も愛したメニューの一つです。
視覚的にも一服の清涼剤になりました。
明日へ向け、改めて気合いが入りました。
明日の施政方針演説、皆様是非ご期待下さい。
総理、政府には機会の均等をはかって頂ければよろしいのであって、自分が貧しい、総理はこんなもの食って！というのは僻み嫉みなのでしょう。
民主主義の要諦は機会の均等にあります。総理がカツカレーを食されても一向に構いませんし、一国の総理が牛丼でもありますまい。共産主義じゃあるまいし（あの壮大な実験は失敗しました）。
カツカレー等々、総理の食単価で判断したり、こんなもの食いやがって！という輩は理解できません。総理がカツカレーを食されようと、大衆とやらにおもねって牛丼食おうと、それで経済が潤うわけもなく。単に安倍家のエンゲル係数が下がるだけの話。
どんどん、食いたいもの、体にいいものを食していただいて、健康を維持して頂き、良い政治、機会均等のある政治をして頂ければよろしい。
それよりも、総理が食事に関してアップすると、途端にみなヒートアップしてコメントする。カツカレー以来、味をしめられましたか？その程度の皮肉、ウィットは楽しい。どんどん、何を食されたかアップして頂きたいものです。
お次は、一部の人間がカリカリしそうな、ふぐ鍋、アンコウ鍋、クエ鍋とか、もっと食単価の高いものをアップ下さい。自国の総理は美食家だ！というのは、対外的にプラスになります。麻生副総理のギャングファッション（Japan’s Finance Minister Rocks Gangster-style）だって、海外に受けているのですから。（むろん、一部の日本国民はカリカリしているでしょうが）

そりゃあ、賛否両論でるでしょうな？しかし、野田議員の真意は、「もちろんこれは相当極端な話で、現実には難しいです。私が言いたいのは、それぐらい『えぐい』テーマにしないとだめだと言う事です」ということで、確かに『えぐい』テーマである。

訪日外国人が増加、円安で拡大狙う
日本政府観光局（JNTO）がまとめた2012年の訪日外国人数は、東日本大震災の影響を受けた2011年との比較では大幅増となった。「アベノミクス」を手掛かりとする円安効果で、政府は一段の増加を期待している。
まとめによると、昨年1年間に海外から日本を訪れた旅行者数は836万人で、前年比34.6％と大幅増を示した。中国、台湾、タイ、インドネシアなど、アジアを中心に渡航者の増加が目立った。観光庁は格安航空会社（LCC）の日本就航のほか、秋以降の円安効果もあったとみている。
政府は2016年までに1800万人、20年ごろには2500万人まで旅行者を増やす目標を掲げており、2013年の今年は初の1000万人突破を目指すなど鼻息は荒い。外為市場で円安方向となっていることから、JNTOは目標達成に期待感を強めている。
これまでの過去最多は2010年の861万人。リーマン・ショック後の不況で旅行需要は大きく減退したが、その影響が薄れ、円高方向に振れていたものの反動増となった。「ビジット・ジャパン」という宣伝活動も奏功したとJNTOは指摘する。
2010年との比較で、減少したのは韓国（16％）、シンガポール（21％）、フランス（13％）、カナダ（11％）、ドイツ（12％）、英国（5％）などからの訪日客だ。JNTOでは、富裕層や家族連れが原発事故の影響を懸念したのではないかとの見方を示した。

「自民党内には在外邦人救出に関する自衛隊法改正にもつなげたいとの声がある」というと、憲法改正問題に敏感なリベラル派の琴線に触れかねず、危機管理即応体制を確立するのが遅れてしまう。また、自衛隊という組織が、専守防衛を目的としディフェンスのみの組織であることから、相手からのオフェンスがないと動けない組織でもある。国家対国家の戦争行為に対する組織だからだ。自衛隊を今回のような国際テロに対応させようとするには無理がある。
国家安全保障会議（ＮＳＣ）創設は結構、しかし、それを実施する組織として自衛隊を想定するのではなく、防諜、情報収集を行い、他国との調整など事前に活動できる組織、最終的に自衛隊派兵までの調整とつなぎができる、シークレットサービスのような組織が必要ではないか？要員には自衛隊隊員から選抜し当座運用する。自衛隊がMI5やFBIの位置づけとすれば、新設シークレットサービス組織はMI6やCIAのような対外防諜的な位置づけとなる。比喩は多少おかしいが、対内（本土内）と対外（他国）という活動の場所の違いということである。防衛駐在武官は自衛隊から派遣されるが、これら武官も出向時に自衛隊の籍を抜いて、一時シークレットサービスの組織下におけばよいだろう。

....For three years economic policy throughout the advanced world has been paralyzed, despite high unemployment, by a dismal orthodoxy. Every suggestion of action to create jobs has been shot down with warnings of dire consequences. If we spend more, the Very Serious People say, the bond markets will punish us. If we print more money, inflation will soar. Nothing should be done because nothing can be done, except ever harsher austerity, which will someday, somehow, be rewarded.
